The TP5100 is a 2A Lithium-Ion 18650 Battery Charger Module, featuring a dual-switch buck converter. It supports both 8.4V for dual-cell batteries and 4.2V for single-cell batteries. The TP5100 is housed in an ultra-compact QFN16 package with a simple external circuit, making it ideal for portable equipment requiring large current charging management. It includes built-in protections for overcurrent, undervoltage, over-temperature, short circuits, battery temperature monitoring, and reverse battery protection.

With a wide input voltage range of 5V-18V, the TP5100 offers three charging phases: trickle, constant current, and constant voltage. The maximum charge current is adjustable up to 2A. Its 400kHz switching frequency allows for smaller external components and minimal heat generation during high-current charging.
